THE WINTER EVOLUTION

■ Overview

We have launched new collection, SUBU DOTS COLLECTION 2026. The concept for the brand’s 11th season is “THE WINTER EVOLUTION.” The collection brings the forms of various types of footwear, including loafers, setta sandals, sneakers, and ballet flats—into winter sandals, with 11 styles and 22 color options.

Collection Lineup

SUBU DOTS COLLECTION 2026 | 10 styles / 22 colors

LOAFER
Inspired by bit loafers, originally derived from horse tack. It keeps a polished appearance while leaving the heel open.

PLATFORM LOAFER
The same shape, given extra thickness. The added height changes the overall impression of the footwear.

SETTA
Inspired by traditional Japanese setta sandals, with an upright thong. The thong secures the foot, while the slip-on design makes them easy to take off—a two-way style long associated with formal wear on clear days.

FROZZO
A mountain-footwear inspired style, with a fleece upper layered with decorative lacing.
Blue & Green / Charcoal & White

SHIKAI
Inspired by fabric footwear traditionally worn in performing arts to muffle footsteps. Its simplest, most unadorned shape comes in two solid colors.

SNEAK
A sneaker silhouette with the heel left open. Mesh is used across the upper.

MATORY
Tweed, bouclé, and brushed fabrics. These three colors bring winter textiles to the surface. Across cultures around the world, textiles have been closely tied to cultural identity.

VAMP STUDCORE
Perhaps the footwear of the future will surround our feet with radio waves. Studs adorn the low-cut vamp of the VAMP, creating a shoe that shines with a futuristic feel.

VAMP NOBLE
Glossy fabrics once worn by aristocrats are decorated with floral and damask patterns. A style that feels equally at home indoors and outdoors.

BALLET
Why do ballet shoes have this shape? Their heels were removed to allow jumping, and their soles made thin to feel the floor—the result of stripping away the unnecessary. This design goes one step further, making them easy to wear with a relaxed feel.

Beyond the collection itself, 2026 marks a special milestone for SUBU as the brand celebrates its 10th anniversary. We’ll also be featuring exciting collaborations with other brands soon, so stay tuned for more updates!
