FW2024 Collection Review

This year marks the ninth year for the SUBU brand, and we’ve crafted the newest collections with the upcoming 10th anniversary in mind. This year’s collections are divided into two categories:

Classic Functional SUBU – Warm, comfortable, and versatile for everyday activities, whether it’s taking out the trash or going camping. We’ve introduced new colors and styles to bring fresh energy to this functional line.
New Concept: SUBU DOTS – This newly introduced line shifts focus to design creativity. SUBU DOTS takes a bold and expressive approach, aiming to showcase unique designs that diverge from the typical functional and practical focus. This line aims to bring out innovative design expressions and surprises. The first collection under SUBU DOTS is the HAREMOKEMO Collection.

What new colors have been added to our Permanent Collection this year?

For the Permanent Collection, we have introduced three new colors — Silver, Orange, and White.

Silver has been long-requested from our customers and finally joins the collection;
Orange gained great feedback in the previous NANNEN collection and became now part of Permanent;
White is enhanced with Teflon coating to prevent stains, addressing customer concerns about cleanliness.

These fresh, new colors are designed to appeal especially to younger audiences in their teens and twenties. Silver has been particularly popular since its release. The same three colors are available in the Outline and Belt series, though the Belt series only includes Silver and Orange.

What's new in the Nannen Collection?

Although there aren’t new colors for NANNEN, a new series called NANNEN FIELD has been introduced. This line features an upper made of flame-retardant CORDURA®️ 305D fabric with a military-inspired design. The new ripstop pattern increases durability while maintaining its flame-retardant properties. Additionally, for the first time, the insole has a printed pattern with a dissolving SUBU logo, along with colored soles for a unique touch.

With these new additions, the 2024 collection brings a mix of tradition and innovation, offering designs that are both functional and stylish. We’re proud to continue pushing boundaries and offering our customers even more choices that reflect our commitment to comfort and creativity.
